Ubuntu 9.04

I’ve installed Ubuntu 9.04 “from scratch” (and reinstalled WinXP, using less space).
Seems to work ok, “this far”. ;-)

Customized it using the library’s WiFi.
(Tried Ubuntu 8.04 – which works, if I use the “safe screen resolution” when installing – but it couldn’t find the WiFi.)

Ubuntu 9.04, just as Ubuntu 8.10, refuses to “speak properly” with the Nikon D100 (which worked fine in Ubuntu 8.04, on my previous computer; Ubuntu 8.10 “saw it, but couldn’t communicate”, Ubuntu 9.04 doesn’t even bother… ). I’m now considering getting a separate CF card reader instead.
