Ubuntu 9.10, and Huawei E220

I’ve now updated my “newer” laptop to Ubuntu 9.10 as well, after successfully having connected to the internet with the E220 via the Live-CD.

It’s still a bit buggy though – I had to disconnect-reconnect the 3G modem a whole bunch of times, before it “got there”.
(I.e.:- I could connect, but not “use the connection”.)
So, this would probably have worked even the first time I tried it, but unaware of the (appr. 10?) reconnections necessary didn’t tried them out then.

Annoying, yes, but it works.
The rest is nice enough for me to keep it.

I still chose to have /home as a separate partition.
I chose ext4 over ext3.

I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!

Thumbs up, and keep it going!
